Terms of Use

By using the Mommity website, you accept the terms below. They are short.

1. What this site is

This website describes the Mommity app and publishes general health information for mothers and the people who care for them, free of charge. It does not give medical advice. Our medical disclaimer sets out exactly what that means, and it forms part of these terms.

2. Using our work

Everything we publish — the words, the images we own, the layout — belongs to us or to whoever licensed it to us. Share our articles, link to them, and quote them: health information is for passing on. Republishing a whole article, translating it, or building it into a product needs our agreement first.

Health workers, community groups and partner organisations who want to reuse our material are welcome to ask through the contact form. The answer is often yes.

3. What you send us

When you write to us you confirm you have the right to send what you send. You keep ownership of it; you give us permission to act on it in order to reply to you.

4. Links to other sites

We link to app stores and to other sources of health information. A link is not an endorsement, and we have no control over what sits on the other end of it.

5. Availability

We try to keep the site up. We do not promise it. Servers fail, hosts have outages, and occasionally we take things offline to fix them.

6. Liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for losses arising from something you read here or from the site being unavailable.

7. Changes

These terms can change. The version on this page at the time you use the site is the one that applies.
